When Carise Harper first earned her degree in fashion and stepped into the industry, she dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and model.
What she could not have imagined then was how that dream would evolve.
Today, that vision has grown into Style by Carise LLC - a creative company built around design, storytelling, media, and the many gifts God placed within her.
Style by Carise LLC is more than a business; it’s a reflection of creativity, passion, and purpose. Built around two main divisions—E-commerce and Media—the company brings together Carise’s love for handcrafted design and her talent for modeling, acting, content creation, and storytelling.
What began as a desire to create beautiful things has become something much bigger: a creative house shaped by style, craftsmanship, purpose, resilience, faith, and legacy.

From Fashion to a Creative Life
Carise began her career in the fashion industry, spending more than a decade in bridal retail and personally styling more than 500 brides.
That experience taught her that style is about more than what we wear. It's about confidence, connection, and helping people see themselves in a new way.
When the bridal companies she worked for eventually closed their locations across the country, Carise found herself at a crossroads.
So she decided to build something of her own.
What started as a handmade accessories business grew into something much broader—bringing together product design, sewing, modeling, acting, content creation, and storytelling.
Over time, Carise realized that she wasn't meant to fit neatly into one creative title.
She is a designer.
A model.
An actress.
A content creator.
A storyteller.
A creative director.
An entrepreneur.
And each part of her journey has shaped the others.
Fashion taught her how to see.

The Designer
Today, the design side of Style by Carise is evolving through The Carise Collective—a collection of thoughtfully designed bags, book sleeves, textile creations, accessories, and signature collections. But the journey began with custom earring designs, where Carise developed her signature approach to transforming simple materials into expressive, wearable pieces and shipped her creations to customers in more than 47 states across the United States. That foundation in design, craftsmanship, and connection with customers continues to shape everything created through The Carise Collective.
The philosophy is simple:

Carise isn't interested in creating simply for the sake of creating more. She is building signature designs that can evolve through beautiful fabrics, colors, seasons, limited editions, and special releases.
Many of her pieces are personally handcrafted by Carise, carrying the time, craftsmanship, and personal touch that have always been part of her work.
As the company grows, she is also learning to build beyond what her own hands can produce—creating systems, intellectual property, collections, and opportunities that allow the vision to grow while keeping the heart of the brand intact.

The Media Creator: Model, Actress and On Camera Talent
Carise's creativity extends far beyond physical products.
With more than 15 years of experience in modeling, commercials, television, film, and digital media, she has built a diverse career as an on-camera talent and creative storyteller.
Her work has placed her on major productions and alongside some of the industry's most recognizable names. She has danced in scenes with Phylicia Rashad, taken direction from Debbie Allen, portrayed a neighbor and friend of Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor in a featured family gathering scene, and appeared alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in a blockbuster film.
Her professionalism, presence, and adaptability have made her a trusted addition to productions large and small, and her natural charisma shines both on set and on screen.

Beauty for Ashes
Carise's story isn't only about creativity.
It's also about resilience.
A freak accident in her studio nearly severed her thumb and took away her ability to create with her hands for more than a year.
For someone whose life had always revolved around making things, the loss was devastating.
Then came even greater heartbreak.
Within a short period of time, Carise lost all four of her grandparents, followed by the loss of her father, Big Rob.
Grief changed her.
It changed the way she saw time, creativity, purpose, and the life she wanted to build.
But it didn't end her story.
Through faith, healing, and the legacy of the people who came before her, Carise began to rediscover her creativity—not by becoming the woman she was before, but by becoming someone new.
More intentional.
More refined.
More purposeful.
She began to understand that some seasons don't destroy you. They transform you.
That became the deeper meaning behind everything she was building:

A belief that God can take what looks broken, painful, delayed, or uncertain and create something beautiful from it.
